A Legal Disclaimer
Hello! These are the terms and conditions for the cleaning services I, Tyler, provide through Ty's Window Cleaning. When you book a service with me, you're agreeing to these terms, so please take a moment to read them through. My aim is to always provide a fantastic, reliable service that you're delighted with.
1. Our Agreement
When you ask me to carry out a service and I agree to do it, that forms our agreement. This agreement includes the details we've discussed (like the service you want and the price) and these terms and conditions.
2. The Services I Offer
I will perform the cleaning services we've agreed upon to a high standard. This typically includes:

Soffit and Fascia Cleaning

Signage Cleaning

Conservatory Cleaning
I use a pure water-fed pole system for most exterior cleaning. This method is excellent for achieving a streak-free finish and is kind to your property and the environment.
3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes I provide are based on the information you give me or what I see during a site visit. Quotes are free and you're under no obligation to proceed.

My quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.

The price quoted will be for the agreed work. If you ask for extra work, or if the job is significantly different from what was discussed (e.g., many more windows than stated), I may need to adjust the price, but I'll always discuss this with you first.

Sometimes, things like very heavy soiling, paint, or other non-standard residues might need extra attention and could affect the price. Again, I'll let you know beforehand if this is the case.
4. Access to Your Property

It's your responsibility to make sure I have safe and clear access to the areas I need to clean. This includes unlocking gates, moving any fragile items or obstructions (like garden furniture or plant pots if they're directly in the way), and ensuring pets are kept secure.

If I can't access the property or parts of it on the agreed date and time, and you haven't let me know in advance, I might need to charge a call-out fee or the full price if I can't do any work.

For services like solar panel or conservatory roof cleaning, please ensure there's adequate space for me to work safely.
5. Payment

Payment is due once I've completed the agreed work to your satisfaction.

I accept payment by bank transfer or cash. I'll provide payment details on your invoice or at the time of service.

For regular cleaning schedules, we can agree on a payment routine.

If payment is overdue by more than 14 days without prior agreement, I reserve the right to pause any further services and may charge interest on the overdue amount.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

By You: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me at least 24 hours' notice. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or if I can't gain access, I may need to charge a cancellation fee (typically 50% of the job value).

By Me: I always aim to be reliable. However, sometimes things like extreme weather (heavy rain, high winds that make it unsafe to work) or unforeseen circumstances might mean I have to reschedule. If this happens, I'll give you as much notice as possible and we'll arrange a new time that suits you.
7. Damage and Liability

I am fully insured for public liability.

I will take all reasonable care to avoid damage to your property while I'm working. My pure water system is very gentle on surfaces.

Please let me know about any fragile items, loose fittings (like window trims, leaky seals, or loose guttering), or pre-existing damage before I start work. I can't be held responsible for damage that was already there, or for damage caused by poorly maintained fixtures and fittings.

I am not liable for dislodged or loose slates/tiles, or for any damage caused by water ingress through poorly sealed windows, doors, or conservatory roofs, unless it's directly due to my negligence.

If you believe I have caused any damage, please tell me within 48 hours of the service so I can investigate properly.
8. Your Satisfaction

I take great pride in my work and want you to be completely happy with the results. That's my "Sparkling Results, Friendly Service, Every Time" promise!

If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with the cleaning, please let me know within 24 hours. I'll come back and re-clean the specific area(s) you're not happy with, free of charge, as soon as possible. This doesn't apply if the issue is due to pre-existing problems (like blown double glazing units or stained UPVC that can't be restored by cleaning alone).
9. Safety

I always work in a way that is safe for you, your property, and myself.

I use professional equipment and follow best practices.

Please keep children and pets away from the areas where I am working and from my equipment.
10. Your Personal Information
I take your privacy seriously. I will only use the personal information you provide (like your name, address, and contact details) to provide my services to you and for my own administrative purposes. I will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
11. Changes to These Terms
I might need to update these terms and conditions from time to time. If I do, the new terms will be available on my website (if applicable) or I'll let you know. Any work we've already agreed upon will usually be covered by the terms that were in place when we made the agreement.
